Auger Drive TMBA

The multiple auger drive TMBA was developed particularly for soil mixing applications. With two respectively three parallel running auger drives one element consisting of two or three overlapping piles is mixed simultaneously.

Depending on soil conditions either wet soil mixing WSM (Wet Speed-Mixing) or dry soil mixing DSM (Dry Speed-Mixing) is applied. In dry soils with little organic parts the WSM procedure adding cement grout and in organic soils the DSM procedure adding lime is used (see also procedure description).

The distance between the drilling axles depends on pile diameter and is stepwise adjustable. The overlapping of the piles is usually approx. 100 mm.
