The pile cap is the connecting link between hammer and pile head. It provides for an accurate guidance and the transmission of the impact energy into the piling element. In order to transfer the maximum impact energy into the piling element, the form of the pile cap must be adapted to the pile head. This is protected by a damping element in the pile cap from damage.
