Method Descriptions Overview

Pile Driving and Extracting

Piling and extracting of piles with a vibrator is the most commonly spread procedure in civil engineering. Sheet pile walls, vibro piles, vibro stone columns, soldier beam walls can be installed.

Drilling

The application of the drilling procedures is very versatile. The vibration-free procedures are used for production of drillings with or without casing and for soil mixing processes. Among the classical drilling procedures belong the installation of CFA piles, Kelly drilling and the VDW system (in front of the wall).

Static Pressing

The ABI Hydro-Press-System enables the static pressing of steel sheet piles and it is used on sites where noise and vibration emissions must be reduced to a minimum.

Impacting

Impacting procedures can be used in almost all kind of soils. Diesel pile hammers and hydraulic impact hammers are usually used. These procedures are suitable for back driving or for merging piles into load-carrying layers e.g. in rock. The use of impacting procedures is also necessary for the proof of load bearing capacity.
