Off-shore Piling Rig

The so called "Beachbagger" with the official name ABI Buhnenramme LM 4 was designed for land reclamation and costal defence at the Baltic Sea.

The equipment consists of a carrier, a fixed leader mast and a hydraulic hammer. With the help of the hydraulic hammer wood piles were driven into the sea-soil. The characteristic of this machine was the extension between the under and upper carriage, which provides a sufficient clearance to the water surface.
